Hello, I am the dreamer and creator of Turtle Notes, a stationery brand that designs and prints greeting cards of creative and sometimes whimsical designs. I am a fairly recent graduate from the University of Minnesota with a major in Graphic Design. So I am quite skillful with drawing, photography and creating in general.

Turtle Notes has been in the works for some time now, I guess I could say that it started forming last February, so 2011, when I started designing Valentine’s Day cards. After thinking about what else I could design I realized that I should start with greeting cards that people would buy for every day occasions like Thank Yous and Happy Birthdays rather than seasonal ones. So I started researching different cards and compiling different sketches and ideas, then started creating cards I could use to start building an inventory.

Before I could send my card designs to the printers I needed to create a brand. So a few months of deliberations and brainstorming I finally came up with Turtle Notes, I just love sea turtles. One little hitch to my plan came when I discovered that TurtleNotes.com was already taken, but that didn’t stop me for long, I decided to go with helloTurtleNotes.com as my domain name. After the name was settled on I started working on my logo and wordmark, although this didn’t take my very long since I already had an idea of what I was looking for when I came up with the name.
So with logo and brand created I started incorporating them into my designs and starting building up my shop presence, and here we are today. Providing unique, clever, and sweet greeting cards to be given warmly and with heart to friends and families.
